PT Majuko Utama Indonesia

PT Majuko Utama Indonesia (MUI) is a second subsidiary of Panji Raya Alamindo engaged in natural gas transportation services through pipelines, with a primary focus on providing gas distribution infrastructure from source to end-user industries in the strategic Cilegon area and its surroundings. PT Majuko Utama Indonesia (MUI) was established on July 23, 2003. Following a shareholding restructuring on September 30, 2021, MUI has been majority-owned by PT Energasindo Heksa Karya (EHK) with a 99.99% stake, while PT Rukun Raharja Tbk. holds the remaining 0.01%. This restructuring puts MUI as an indirect subsidiary of PT Panji Raya Alamindo.

MUI owns and operates a natural gas transmission pipeline network spanning approximately 48.05 km, focusing on gas transportation activities in the western part of Java, specifically Cilegon (Banten) and Tambun (West Java). In its operations, MUI serves as a Transporter, delivering Shippers’ gas under transportation agreements that refer to the Access Arrangement and apply the transportation tariffs taht has been set by BPH Migas. Through this service, Shippers’ gas can be utilized by end customers.

In its operations, MUI upholds the principles of a reasonable and prudent operator. Combined with a skilled workfoce, these foundations enables MUI to maintain service quality despite challenges in the gas transportation business stemming from the natural decline in existing gas supply. MUI also believes that gas pipeline infrastructure remains a critical factor in ensuring supply continuity, both for upstream utilization and downstream distribution to end users.
